What are the laptop/desktop requirements for the course? (RAM, storage, processor, etc.)Processor: An Intel Core i5 (or higher) or AMD Ryzen 5 (or higher) processor will provide enough power for most graphic design tasks. For more demanding tasks, an i7 or i9 (or Ryzen 7 or 9) processor would be better. RAM: 16GB of RAM is a good starting point for most graphic design work, but 32GB or more can be beneficial for larger projects or when working with multiple design software programs. Storage: A high-speed SSD with at least 512GB is recommended, but 1TB or more is ideal for storing your design files and software. Display: A display with good color accuracy and a high resolution (Full HD or higher) is crucial for graphic design work. IPS or OLED panels are good options for better color reproduction and viewing angles. Graphics Card: A dedicated graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce or Quadro, or AMD Radeon) can significantly improve performance for rendering images and videos. Other Considerations: Look for a laptop with a comfortable keyboard and touchpad, as you'll be using them a lot. Consider a laptop with a touchscreen if you plan to use it for drawing or sketching. Operating System: Choose between macOS (if you prefer the Apple ecosystem and use Adobe Creative Suite) or Windows (if you prefer the flexibility of various software options).

Do I need to have prior design experience to join the academy?Not at all! Our classes are beginner-friendly and designed to take you from zero to design hero. We break down everything step-by-step, so you’re guided through the process with ease.

Which design software will we be using, and do I need to pay for them?Empire Desynz Academy offers different courses for different software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva. Depending on the course you choose, you may need a paid subscription—for example, Adobe products requires a paid subscription, while Canva has both free and Pro options. We’ll guide you on what’s needed based on your selected course. ADOBE SOFTWARE There are TWO OPTIONS available to install Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop on your laptop, see below: OPTION 1 - Technician Installation: This service includes REMOTE installation of the cracked version of the software you need. Depending on your laptop, you'll receive a reliable version from 2021-2023. COST: $49.99 per software Please note: This version will not be automatically updated each year. Therefore, you will need to re-install IF you choose to upgrade the year and get another version in the future. Upon ordering & making payment, arrangements would be made for our technician to install it within 5 business days. OPTION 2 - Official Adobe Subscription: Alternatively, you may download the official Adobe version directly from the Adobe website. This option requires you to pay Adobe, a monthly or yearly subscription fee. COST: The current monthly subscription is USD $19.99 per software at their special student price. You must sign up as a student to get this special rate. CANVA Canva Free: Great for beginners. You get access to thousands of templates, basic design tools, and free photos. Canva Pro: Unlocks everything—premium templates, brand kits, background remover, animation, Magic Resize, and more. HOW TO GET CANVA PRO? Will I receive a certificate upon completion of the course?Yes, you will receive a certificate upon completion of our 1-ON-1 classes and online self-paced courses. However, certificates are not provided for class replay videos.

Do you offer payment plans ?Yes! We offer flexible payment plans to make it easier for students to enroll (ONLY FOR 1-ON-1 or group classes. A deposit secures your spot, and the balance can be paid in installments during the course.

How soon after the course can I start freelancing or getting clients?You can start right away! Many of our students land clients while still enrolled. We teach real-world design skills, branding, and marketing tips that help you launch confidently.

Is there any support after the course ends (e.g., mentorship or communities?)Yes! After your course ends, you can stay connected through paid check-in sessions for design reviews, feedback, or guidance—only $50 USD per session. You can also join our Designer Community on Telegram for networking, support, and exclusive tips for a one-time fee of $50 USD. Both options are perfect for continued growth after completing the course.

How do I add a new question & answer?To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.

Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.

How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
